Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Superintendent to oversee drywall installation and finishing operations for our tenant improvement and multi-family projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, ensuring project deadlines, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. Key Responsibilities: -Supervise and coordinate all drywall activities on multiple job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. -Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. -Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. -Provide leadership and direction to drywall crews, fostering a positive and productive work environment. -Schedule and manage materials delivery, ensuring adequate supplies for ongoing projects. -Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise and adjust work plans as necessary. -Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and time tracking. Qualifications: -Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent, specifically in commercial tenant improvements and multi-family construction. -Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and industry standards. -Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. -Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. -Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices. -Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
