Description
This role supports our client's Operations Finance team, providing best in class financial support for multiple functional organizations. This position is responsible for conducting financial analytics that translates data into actionable information for organizational leadership. This position will play a direct role in establishing annual operating budgets and in partnering with functional leadership to meet and exceed those budgets on an annual basis. This position requires a service-oriented financial analyst with a track record of establishing successful partnerships with budget owners to achieve financial commitments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional leadership to formulate multi-year project budgets
• Lead your teams through various business rhythms, including development of 5-year planning exercises, annual operating plans, and monthly outlook updates
• Translate financial data and performance into actional information for budget owners and other leaders
• Align your monthly business rhythms to Corporate requirements
• Analyze transaction level data on a weekly basis. Data mining across diverse data sets
• Formulate revised monthly outlooks and input to financial planning system
• Drive execution to financial plan (labor and non-labor) through strong analysis and cross-functional coordination
• Lead the development of estimate at complete (EACs) for assigned projects
• Anticipate reporting needs from budget owners and functional leadership
• Support budget owners in developing monthly variance analyses
• Support make vs buy analyses--
  Qualification
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent---..or other highly analytical field.
  • 5+ years of financial and business analytics experience.
  • Strong analytical skill set and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in helping business managers meet financial targets and deliver results.
  • Understanding of underlying business processes and the impact of financial decisions.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.--
