Job Description:

10 years in Manufacturing Accounting is REQUIRED!As a Controller, you'll monitor accounting, HR, operation of the business and current asset management. Budgets, forecast and bank related treasury management the company's financial status, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions.To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with cost accounting and inventory control . Ultimately, you'll make sure they comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits and mitigate risks.ResponsibilitiesDocument, monitor and update accounting policiesEnsure all payments are completed on time (including accounts payable and bank deposits)Review quarterly and annual budgets for all departmentsAnalyze costs and profitsSet and track financial KPIsBuild risk assessment models to evaluate investmentsReport on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when neededMaintain accurate and up-to-date filing systemsPerform internal audits and assist with external auditsEnsure compliance with accounting and tax regulationsSkillsWork experience as a Controller or similar roleThorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislationHands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsExperience with cost accounting & inventory controlGood knowledge of accounting software; Great Plains preferred.Attention to detailAbility to work with tight deadlinesBSc or MSc in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CMA preferred
