There are exciting opportunities for anyone who shares our commitment to quality, creativity, and hard work.Essential Functions of the JobMonth-end, quarterly, and year-end closes.Reviews accounting reports, transactions, and inventory processes. Analyzes variances and recommends correction measures.Utilize Vertex to address any Sales Tax issues.Ensures correct costing of all labor and materials and entering/updating corresponding list prices.Analyzes, calculates, and updates annual labor charges and overhead rates and recosts purchased and manufactured partsOversee credit and collection processes and customer management.Oversee costing activities, including annual re-costing and pricing processes.Prepares and analyzes monthly budgeting and financial reports for costing, pricing and profitability.Prepares annual budget.Maintain internal controls and safeguards for assets.Maintain a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and work instructions.Coordinate all activities and information for Internal or External audits.Identify and implement continuous improvement plans within the organization.Monitors inventory policies and procedures to ensure accurate accounting control of flow of materials.Coordinates all aspects of annual physicals inventory if applicable.Lead and be part of project teams both within the accounting department and outside the department.Other duties as required.Core Competencies for LeadersLeading Change / Change Management: Ability to drive improvement of team, division, and corporate goals and objectives through people. Acquires and utilizes human, financial, material and information resources effectively.Results Driven: Ability to make timely and effective decisions and produce results through planning and the implementation and evaluation of business metrics, systems, policies, and program; stressing accountability and continuous improvement.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of relative accounting and budgeting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.CMA/CPA highly desirable.Technology-advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software-JD Edwards One World a plus, ability to work with databases.Ability to multi-task and have the foresight to plan and delegate accordingly.Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Manufacturing industry experience preferred.Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods. They must be able to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as required to complete job requirements.
