School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in
Neah Bay, WA, this K-12 public school is seeking a licensed school
psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services
throughout the 2023-2024 school year. This contract position runs
from September 1 through June 15, with standard hours of 8:00 AM to
3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including meetings as needed. The
caseload covers students aged pre-kindergarten through 22 years old
with a wide range of disabilities, excluding communication-only
impairments. Last year, approximately 68 students were tested, with
an expected caseload of over 50 students this year due to typical
referral increases in the winter months. Responsibilities include
conducting psychological evaluations, transfer reviews, evaluation
waivers, and collaborating with the educational team. The role
supports a single campus comprising three school buildings. Key
responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments across a
diverse range of disabilities Collaborate with educators, families,
and administrators on student support plans Manage transfer reviews
and evaluation waivers with input from fellow psychologists
Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and special
education planning Provide services in-person during testing;
flexible hybrid work arrangements may be considered, though
on-campus presence is preferred Qualifications: Valid School
Psychologist certification/license Experience working with K-12
student populations across varied disabilities Ability to manage a
fluctuating caseload and deliver timely assessments Strong
communication and collaboration skills Willingness to work on-site
to conduct testing and face-to-face meetings This position offers
