is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spanish Teacher to join

Part-time Spanish Teacher Location: St. Louise Parish School Start
Date: August 25, 2026 Days: Tuesday-Friday Position Summary The
Spanish Teacher provides instruction in language acquisition,
communication, and cultural awareness. The teacher fosters an
appreciation for diverse cultures while supporting communication
skills in a faith-centered environment. Key Responsibilities
Include Implement an appropriate instructional program in a
learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop
and fulfill their academic potential Coordination of teaching
materials with the standards of OSPI and national standards for
World Languages to meet the 5 C's in World Language (communication,
cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities) Instructs
reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Spanish.
Monitors student progress via homework, assessments, quizzes, and
tests Effectively and timely communicate academic growth and
progress with parents and students Provides suggestions for further
learning and intervention for students who may struggle in specific
areas. Preparation of students and proctoring for AVANT4 Stamp
Testing for Spanish for Competency Credits which could be applied
towards the bilingual seal, being offered in the state of
Washington to reward, and encourage bilingualism. Prepares students
for future academics in World Languages Writes recommendations for
graduating 8th-grade students, as needed for High Schools Design
and implement a comprehensive and engaging Spanish language
curriculum aligned with Archdiocesan and state standards Prepares
lesson plans based on grade level Deliver effective and dynamic
instruction to middle school students, fostering a positive and
inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues,
parents, and administrators to enhance the overall educational
experience and contribute to a supportive school community Teaches
grades 3-5 1x a week, teaches grades 6-8 2x a week Teaches an
elective course on Fridays Supports the mission of the school and
Catholic education. Qualifications Experience in teaching middle
school students is preferred, but not necessary if just out of
college Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related
field WA state teaching certificate is preferred Practicing
Catholic preferred Has an endorsement and/or experience in teaching
Spanish is preferred Appreciates the ability to collaborate with
other middle school teachers to create a dynamic program Is
proficient with Microsoft Office programs and integrates technology
into lessons Understands and is proficient in teaching the Spanish
Language Native Spanish Speaker Ability to work collaboratively
with faculty, administration, families, and parish community Strong
verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish Strong
classroom management and organizational skills Commitment to
supporting the academic, social, and spiritual development of

position is $50,666-$80,000. This position is part-time at 0.7 FTE.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal
salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant
experience, degrees, and certifications. Benefits: A comprehensive
