This position reports to the Systems Engineering Section inside of the Advanced Development Programs business unit. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists--and--engineers,--you will--be the lead launch vehicle integrator. You will develop both verification and validation plans for the launch vehicle and space vehicle interfaces and serve as the main technical interface between the launch vehicle provider and ADP.   • Lead the definition of launch vehicle system interface requirements, interface control documents, and other data products
  • Develop Verification and Validate plans for the Launch vehicle and spacecraft interfaces.
  • Collaborate across teams (launch vehicle, spacecraft, and customers) to manage changes and ensure alignment
  • Lead the Verification and validation activities and report on completions related to launch vehicle integration.
  • Coordinate customer insight, validation, and verification requests
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans related to Launch Vehicle Integration
  • Identify and develop risk reduction test plans, plan and execute specialty engineering unique tests.--
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to program stakeholders
  • Have frequent inter-organizational and supplier/customer interactions on difficult technical issues
  • Work independently determine and develop approaches to solutions
  • Contribute to the mentoring & training of personnel Qualifications:-- --
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.--
    • Experience of leading a Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft integration program
    • Experience working with Air Force Range Safety
    • Ability to use highly sophisticated engineering skills used to design, develop, and evaluate astronautical/mechanical/structural systems.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills--
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment--
    • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion--
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum-- Desired (but not required):--
      • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in relevant field
      • Successful candidates typically have 5 years' experience
      • Experience with software tools such as DOORS Next Generation, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Creo, and Windchill.--
      • Experience with FMSA and SM&A.--
      • Experience with NASA Deep space, lunar, LEO, human rated space crafts and operations.
