Engineering team is responsible for delivering secure, reliable,
and high-performance products to our customers. We embrace Agile,
DevSecOps, and SRE practices to accelerate our development
processes, enabling a collaborative and supportive work
environment.A day in the life:As a Staff Engineer in the Enterprise
Engineering group, you will play a critical role in supporting
engineering teams globally by enabling CI/CD platforms, monitoring,
observability, and metrics adoption, driving enterprise-wide
platform utilization.
- Lead the evolution of key platforms, contributing significantly
to product roadmaps and technical strategies at the platform level.
You will take ownership of the delivery lifecycle for your selected
platform, ensuring it evolves according to strategic business
objectives.
- Partner with project management, architecture, security, and
operations teams to ensure seamless execution and development of
products. Facilitate the exchange of information, provide status
updates, and collaborate on platform improvements.
- Facilitate an Engineering Community of Practice within your
technology space to promote best practices, share knowledge, and
enhance the skills of the broader engineering team. Foster an
environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Drive improvements in throughput, quality, cycle time, and
DevOps culture across the organization. Ensure that engineering
teams have the tools, platforms, and processes they need to
excel.
- Mentor and guide team members, helping them grow technically
and professionally. Provide clear direction and contribute to
project commitments, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Continuously evaluate and improve CI/CD and observability
systems, staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry
trends. Recommend and implement new tools, frameworks, and
processes to enhance developer efficiency and system
reliability.
- Provide thought leadership in CI/CD systems, cloud
technologies, observability platforms, and integration practices.
Contribute to the architecture of build systems (e.g., Maven,
Gradle), Spring Boot, and Go projects, collaborating with Principal
Architects and Software Engineers.
- Identify bottlenecks and constraints within processes, driving
innovative solutions that minimize lead times and improve overall
system performance. Collaborate on performance tuning, fault
tolerance, and load balancing.
- Work effectively with geographically distributed teams,
ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives across multiple
regions.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a
related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or
related roles, with a deep understanding of DevSecOps and/or SRE
practices.
- Proven experience designing and architecting large-scale CI/CD
pipelines using tools like GitHub, GitLab, ArgoCD, or
Drone.io.
- Extensive experience with observability platforms such as
Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform,
Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration
(Kubernetes, Helm).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and
Linux-based systems.
- Experience with performance tuning, load balancing, and fault
tolerance.
- Experience in creating ephemeral environments for distributed
testing of microservices architectures.
- Expertise in solution architecture, process/system flows, and
logical/reference architecture.Must haves:

Package:lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a
pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional
individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this
position is from $164,000 - $215,300 USD annually; the base pay
offered is based on market location and may vary depending on
job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As
part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this
position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program,
