Job Description:
Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access
through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit
(LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to
unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo
will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable
broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers,
businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating
in places without reliable connectivity. Export Control
Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations,
candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent
resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted
into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. The Propulsion Lab
Engineer will work within the Amazon Leo Propulsion Design team in
the development, operation, and optimization of electric propulsion
Test infrastructure. This person will support the development of
development Test capabilities for a variety of different propulsion
subsystems, including feed systems, thrusters, cathodes, printed
circuit board assemblies, tanks, and the integrated propulsion
system. They will support development Test infrastructure
development and execution processes needed to support technology
development and improvements to support production stakeholders.
They will develop and own test processes which impact the
development Test workflows, and diagnose and solve Test issues in
order to ensure development Tests proceed efficiently. They will
work with responsible engineers to develop test hardware and
software improvements. Key job responsibilities Define standard
operating procedures for development test equipment changes and
maintenance processes Assist in the build and development of test
hardware, such as ground support equipment, test venue
infrastructure, as well as test fixturing and harnessing. Train
operators in the execution of developed processes, in cases where
development test processes or improvements are transferrable to
production tests. Work with Design and Manufacturing engineers to
diagnose and solve issues and improve test capabilities and
stability Build development test venues. - 2 years of hardware
design and validation of components, subsystems and systems
experience - Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, or
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1 years of professional or
military experience - Experience using modeling, project
management, CAD and software programming tools - Experience in

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
