Overview As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE), you will
architect and deliver best-in-class analytics solutions that drive
data-informed decisions to streamline production of Leo's satellite
technology. You will set new standards for creating scalable,
efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analysis
while maintaining a high bar for engineering excellence. As a
Senior BIE within Leo ProdOps, you will demonstrate technical
leadership by transforming complex challenges into clear,
actionable insights. You are a customer-obsessed problem-solver who
builds strong partnerships across Leo's ecosystem, including
hardware, software, supply chain, manufacturing, launch,
facilities, and finance teams. Your ability to invent and simplify
will be key to solving technical challenges. You will use your
communication skills to articulate complex data concepts, manage
expectations, and drive consensus across diverse technical and
non-technical stakeholders. You will raise the bar by mentoring
other BIEs and contributing to the team's technical vision and
strategy. Key job responsibilities - Partner with cross-functional
and cross-organizational teams to understand business challenges
and deliver data-driven solutions that enable better decision
making - Develop key metrics and performance indicators that drive
continuous improvement across Leo's operations - Define analytical
approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and
formulate recommendations that improve productivity - Build
self-service reporting solutions that scale across the organization
- Write complex SQL queries and develop efficient data pipelines to
support both recurring and ad-hoc analytical needs - Build and
maintain robust data infrastructure in collaboration with BIEs/DEs,
ensuring data quality, availability, and scalability - Effectively
communicate complex analytical insights to diverse stakeholders
through clear documentation and presentations - Lead technical
initiatives and mentor team members, promoting analytics best
practices across the organization - Stay current with AI/ML
advancements (especially around LLMs and GenAI) and evangelize new
technologies within the BIE and analytics community A day in the

team The Operations Analytics Team (OAT) was established to develop
end-to-end analytics products across Leo Production Operations.
That includes both tools and insights for ProdOps leadership and
functional teams. OAT products are leveraged as the
single-source-of-truth for insights and metrics that production
teams rely on to drive performance. OAT works in parallel with the
Leo Production PMO to coordinate actions and release analytics
products across all Leo teams. - 7 years of SQL experience -
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced
SQL skills. - Experience with AWS technologies - Experience
programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data
sets - Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments
and statistical analysis of results - Experience with theory and
practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning
and data mining - 5 years of Tableau Desktop, Quicksight or other
relevant data visualization software experience - Experience with
R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning
software - Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an
equivalent quantitative field - Experience managing, analyzing and
communicating results to senior leadership - Experience working
directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
