Job Description The Role: The District Manager of Sales is responsible for leading the analysis, execution, and acceleration of profitable revenue generation with assigned insurance stores in district. Accountable for the district's revenue growth, as well as monthly reports and training Builds, leads, and manages the sales team within the region Coaches, trains, and develops Branch Managers & Producers in all aspects of sales in a multi-location, retail environment Communicates sales strategy to Branch Managers, monitors the strategy as the team executes, and focus the team on meeting the right sales goals Creates a positive atmosphere across the region and increase employee engagement and morale; reducing employee turnover Executes policies, procedures, metrics, key performance indicators, and compensation plans to drive and incentivize the realization of sales targets and revenue goals Measures and analyze productivity of employees within the region Leads recruiting efforts within the region Qualifications and Education Requirements: 5 years of sales, business development, and/or marketing experience 2 years of management experience; great leadership presence in insurance Bachelor's degree preferred Experience in working in a very competitive, high growth environment with accountability for sales and business development Proven sales leader with multi-unit experience managing sales teams in a gritty, hands on insurance environment Excellent team builder and motivator Licensed in P&C Preferred Skills: Ability to lead, plan and manage change Entrepreneurial, hands-on, with strong bias for action Excellent team builder and motivator Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills Data/metrics driven and analytical Strong organizational and time management skills Other Duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for the job.
