For us, this means creating innovative solutions while focused on both customer needs and our commitment to sustainability. - Join our team to create a better tomorrow together!About the Manufacturing Engineering Manager role:Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will oversee the Manufacturing Engineering Department within our Florence, KY plant. In this role, you will have supervision of six direct reports, ensuring engineering projects are completed within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.

• Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.
• Reviews and evaluates department processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
• May include responsibility for Process Engineering, Project Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and/or Maintenance.
• Evaluates, and makes final determination on (with input from plant manager) the process recommendations of engineers to ensure they are accurate and consistent with the organization's short-term production plans.
• Leads the most complex, large, or difficult process engineering projects and develops innovative approaches to production problems.
• Estimates the cost, time and resources required for repair projects; prepares work orders and monitors the progress of work against estimates.
• Monitors industry trends and developments in engineering technology and makes recommendations on equipment/systems investments.
• Leads and directs manufacturing engineering department.
• Responsible for achieving department goals and objectives, and development of employees.
• Leader of Zero harmQualifications:
  • 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma required
  • Solid background in metal cutting processes; CNC and manual process
  • Background and familiarity in assembly processes
