QA/Food Safety ManagerKent, WashingtonREQUIRED:
Three or more years of experience working in Quality/Food Safetyas an SQF Practitioner
Knowledge of food manufacturing best practices, food production, safety and quality regulations (PCQI, SQF, GFSI).
Must be HAACP and SQF Certified Experience leading a team of quality assurance technicians in a foodmanufacturing environment
Must have USDA experienceRESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and enhance quality management systems, andoversee the maintenance of thecompany's SQF certification and compliance
Implement, and manage quality assurance policies, procedures, and programs to ensure adherence to SQF standards and FDA/USDA regulations
Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify potential quality gaps and areas for improvement
Lead investigations into non-conformance, quality deviations, and customercomplaints - identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventiveactions Keep abreast of USDA/FDA regulations, trends and advancements related to SQF practices, microbiology, and quality assurance*Special opportunity to join an established, highly-regarded category leader
