TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Antepartum RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122! Pay Information $1,945 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Antepartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active compact license required Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP (required); ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Experience with high-risk antepartum patients Description: Candidates must have been separated from previous employment for at least 3 months to be eligible for travel contracts. First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience or no experience with C-Sections will be screened out. Only candidates with AWHONN Intermediate certification will be considered. Approval from management is required for applicants floating to the postpartum unit. Experience with high-risk antepartum patients is mandatory, including those with conditions such as preterm labor, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, premature rupture of membranes, twins, and substance use disorders during pregnancy. Care for fetal demise or loss of patients, both antepartum and postpartum, is required. Nurses will care for postpartum mothers with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Candidates should be able to support amnio or sterile specimen exams at the bedside. Nurses will manage PCA pumps, PICC and central lines, and syringe pumps. Experience with administering anticoagulants, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy is essential. Candidates will also circulate for C-sections as part of labor and delivery management. Scrub colors are flexible, but scrubs will be provided when floating to labor and delivery units.
