Wellness Director Position: The Health and Wellness Director is
responsible for managing the operations of assisted living and
memory care services within a senior living community, ensuring
that residents receive top-notch care and satisfaction. This
position entails leadership duties such as recruitment, training,
budgeting, and the coordination of a multidisciplinary care team. A
licensed Registered Nurse with a background in geriatric nursing or
dementia care is essential for effectively overseeing daily
wellness department functions. We are on the lookout for a licensed
Registered Nurse who can showcase their leadership abilities while
fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional care to
our residents in a large senior living community. In the role of
Health and Wellness Director, you will oversee the entire wellness
department, which encompasses both assisted living and memory care

Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily operations of the
assisted living and memory care departments Recruit, train, and
develop the care team Provide leadership and guidance to the
management team, which includes the Memory Care Director, Care
Coordinator, administrators, and nursing staff Engage directly with
residents to assess their needs and services, ensuring accurate
communication and documentation of resident status in the
electronic care system Supervise medication technicians and
delegate nursing responsibilities to unlicensed personnel Perform
additional leadership tasks as required Qualifications A passion
for working with seniors! Proven leadership skills in building
effective care teams and achieving positive outcomes Current RN
license Experience in Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing,
Gerontology, and/or Dementia Care Proven track record in budgeting
and cost management Knowledge of developing and implementing
service plans, medication management systems, infection control
protocols, and safety procedures Ability to foster teamwork,
leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to
