Location: Tacoma, WA Position Type: Locum Physician Orthopedic Surgery Overview We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage in Tacoma, WA. This assignment offers up to 2 weeks per month of ongoing coverage with strong hospital and clinic support. Practice Highlights Coverage Dates Needed: November December Ongoing: Up to 2 weeks/month (6 9 month duration) Setting: Hospital (ER coverage 24/7) Outpatient clinic (3.5 days/week, mornings) Procedures: Full spectrum of orthopedic cases (excluding complex pelvic cases) EMR: Epic Dedicated PA support in ER, MA in clinic Reason for coverage: Provider resignation Candidate Requirements Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon REQUIRED WA license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) REQUIRED Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon REQUIRED Minimum 5 years of Level II trauma experience REQUIRED BLS & DEA REQUIRED (or willing to obtain after offer) Availability at name clear REQUIRED Clean malpractice preferred Schedule & Coverage ER Coverage: 24/7 with PA support Outpatient Clinic: 3.5 days per week (mornings, Mon Fri) Admissions/Patients: Varies (0 7 per day) Why Tacoma, WA?
