Job Description:
Job Description Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner –
Independent Primary Care (Yakima, WA) We are building a new,
independent, physician-led primary care clinic in Yakima, WA—and
we’re hiring a PA or NP to help build it with us. This is not a
corporate clinic, not hospital-owned, and not driven by RVUs or
inbox volume. 4 clinic days 1 admin day. No nights. No call. No
hospital work. High autonomy, strong physician support, and time to
practice real primary care. This role is ideal for someone who
wants to do good medicine and be part of building something
meaningful from the ground up. About the role This is a full-time
outpatient primary care position in a brand-new, independent
clinic. You will work directly with the clinic’s founder (family
medicine physician), manage your own patient panel, and help shape
how care is delivered—from visit flow to clinical priorities. We
are intentionally designing a practice that values thoughtful
clinical decision-making, continuity of care, and sustainable
workloads—not productivity dashboards and inbox triage. Schedule &
lifestyle 4 days per week in clinic 1 dedicated admin day No nights
No call No hospital coverage Predictable schedule. Room to breathe.
Compensation & benefits Competitive base salary (up to
approximately $135,000 depending on experience) Sign-on bonus and
relocation assistance available CME allowance Malpractice coverage
Licensing and DEA fees covered Paid time off Why this role is
different You will be one of the early clinical hires in a growing,
independent clinic. This means: Direct access to the physician
founder for mentorship, collaboration, and decision-making Real
input into clinic workflows, systems, and care models The ability
to help shape what this clinic becomes—not just work inside it
Opportunity over time to grow into leadership, operational, or
program-development roles as the clinic expands We are early, but
we are serious about building a long-term, multi-specialty
outpatient practice that serves this community well and treats
clinicians like adults. Who this is a great fit for You may be a
great fit if you: Are a PA-C or NP with an interest in primary care
Value autonomy without being left unsupported Want a sustainable,
long-term role—not a churn-and-burn position Are burned out by
corporate medicine and want to practice with intention Are excited
by helping build and improve systems, not just use them How to
apply To apply, send your CV or a brief note of interest via
LinkedIn, or email directly at akira@yakimamensclinic.com
