Job Description:
Medical Assistant Location: Marysville, WA Agency: Pride Health
Pay: $25 to $29 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start
Date: ASAP About the Position REQUIRED: Please provide detailed
answers to the below questions: What are the top responsibilities
for this position? (Please be as detailed as possible as to what
tasks will be conducted on a daily basis): Delivering high quality
patient care through face-to-face, telephone and electronic contact
with for the purpose of examination, treatment, monitoring, and
preparation for diagnostic tests or procedure. Collection and
documentation of patient information to include vital signs, chief
complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen
information, status of extended care benefits and other services.
Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company
standards and policies. Assist with tasking, phone calls, and
messages; document all actions taken. Proper, concise, and complete
EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments
and procedures. Prepare and clean patient rooms, set up instruments
and equipment according to protocol while maintaining infection
control. Must have qualifications/experience: High school diploma,
GED or equivalent experience Graduation from an accredited Medical
Assistant program Active Interim or Medical Assistant Certified
(MA-C) through the Washington State Department of Health Basic Life
Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the
Professional Rescuer (client) What skills/attributes are nice to
have, and will set a candidate apart? 1 years of experience working
as an Medical Assistant Bilingual English and Spanish Type of
certification required: Certified Medical Assistant Shift start &
end times: Shifts may vary, start times 7am - 6pm.Not to exceed 40
hours per week. Work days per week: 4 or 5 depending on shift
length. Dress code/scrub color: Scrubs - any color. Full
