Required Skills: Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Oncology Proficiency in managing new patient evaluations and follow-up care Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to work effectively in a startup clinic environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Comfortable handling telephonic communication and low-volume clinical responsibilities Flexibility to work full-time hours and participate in call coverage as specified Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience establishing or developing outpatient clinics Familiarity with community-based healthcare delivery Multilingual skills or cultural competence in diverse patient populations Advanced certifications related to hematology or oncology Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of post-residency clinical practice in internal medicine, hematology, or oncology Prior experience working in a clinic startup or new healthcare facility preferred Other Requirements: Ability to take call as scheduled, including 24-hour hospital call, weekend rounding, and weeknight on-call responsibilities Willingness to participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives Valid medical licensure in the state of practice and DEA license Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be committed to establishing high-quality patient care.
