Surgical Tech – UHC Staffing Surgical Tech Location: Seattle, WA
Start Date: 03-02-2026 End Date: 06-01-2026 Contract Type: Travel
Contract Shift Type: Monday-Friday (4x10 schedule; variable days),
11:00 AM - 9:30 PM, Evening shift (day); includes 1 call per 4-week
schedule (weekday call from end of shift until 7:00 AM; weekend
call is 24 hours 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM when scheduled). Hours per Week:

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Scrub and assist in a wide
variety of high-acuity operating room cases, including ENT, GYN,
Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Cardiothoracic and transplant
procedures Support robotic (DaVinci Xi) cases — set up, assist and
troubleshoot instruments for robotic-assisted surgery Prepare,
maintain and pass surgical instruments and supplies while ensuring
sterile technique and patient safety Document perioperative care
accurately in Cerner and communicate effectively with surgical
teams Participate in unit orientation and teamwork activities to
onboard quickly and safely Respond to call assignments within the
required response time and provide reliable coverage when scheduled
Contribute to efficient case flow across multiple OR suites and
help manage large or complex surgical cases Qualifications WA State
surgical technologist license required at time of submittal (no
pending licenses will be reviewed) Washington State CST
registration required (national CST not required) BLS certification
required Minimum 1 year of scrubbing/OR experience Experience with
DaVinci Xi robotic surgery (Gyn, Uro, General) — required Strong
ENT procedural experience (FESS/sinus, septoplasty, cochlear
implant, tympanoplasty, laryngoscopy, thyroid/parathyroid) —
required Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes and participate in
weekend call rotation Education Graduate of an accredited surgical
technologist program Knowledge & Skills Operating Room procedures
and sterile technique expertise Proficiency with robotic-assisted
surgery workflows (DaVinci Xi) Familiarity with ENT, GYN, Urology,
Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic and transplant case sets Comfort with
Cerner charting and electronic documentation Strong instrument
recognition, case setup and turnover skills Ability to perform
under pressure in a high-volume OR (50–65 cases/day across multiple
suites) Effective communication and teamwork with surgeons,
