Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Olympia, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,975 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Float RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years minimum License: Current state license or compact license required Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, MAB, and NIH preferred Must-Have: Telemetry experience required; Charge Nurse experience preferred Description: Floating between various like units is required. Travelers regularly float within their skill set. Night shifts are required for three 12-hour shifts. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5 during day and night shifts. Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend commitment is required. No on-call shifts are required. Patients may be ER boarded, tele, med-surg, etc. The floating role fills needs across the institution. Nurse-to-patient ratios vary depending on unit acuity, typically 1:4-6. Charge Nurse experience is required. The clinician must have experience in the U.S. Candidates must possess skills in telemetry and the management of dysrhythmias. Reliable transportation is essential. Special scheduling requests may not be accommodated. Housing should be secured before acceptance. All onboarding requirements must be completed promptly.
