X-Ray Tech Location: Tacoma, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,459 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Tuesdays to Fridays Hours per Shift: 10 hours, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Washington state DOH imaging license required Certifications: BLS certification required, ARRT registered Must-Have: - One year experience preferred - Experience in larger, fast-paced hospital environments preferred Description: Medical Solutions auto deducts state tax. Candidates must have a valid Washington license. Facility does not provide a radiation badge. Candidates may not have worked with any associated facilities within the past year. Department performs general X-ray procedures with portable X-rays and X-rays in the department and emergency department. Tech will work with other X-ray technologists during the shift. Approximately 20 to 50 scans/studies performed daily. Used systems include McKesson PACS and EPIC. Department specific equipment includes GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu. There are in-house radiologists from 8 AM to 5 PM; others read off-site after hours. Techs are not required to start IVs. Scrubs are provided for staff. Two hours of department-specific orientation with the manager and two weeks with staff orientation. Cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled during the assignment duration. Charting system utilized is EPIC. COVID vaccine is required. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
