Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a motivated Supply
Base Management Specialist (Level 3 & 4) to lead projects
supporting our BCA Work Movement team in Everett, Washington.
The Supply Base Management Specialist will facilitate
supplier/subcontractor business relationships and performance to
contractual obligations and expectations. They will monitor
supplier quality and delivery performance to identify potential
risks, issues and opportunities. They will develop and execute
supply base work movement plans and integrates with customer,
program and commodity strategies.
This role requires a keen attention to detail. The individual
selected will be responsible for carefully monitoring and measuring
supplier performance while clearly communicating performance
expectations. Identify and participates in business and costs
savings initiatives. Identify and participates in supplier and
business improvement activities. Provides outcomes for potential
integration into contracting strategies.

Position Responsibilities:
Utilizes Work Movement Team's (WMT) standard process to
independently lead and be accountable for high risk Work Movement
projects to ensure perfect quality and on-time transferred
parts
Leads the Execution of High Risk Work Movement Projects, identifies
key project stakeholders, develops and maintains project
implementation plan and ensures engagement and progress to plan by
leading reoccurring Performance to Plan reviews both internally and
externally with assigned suppliers
Leads on-site supplier engagements to identify/manage risks early,
develop mitigation strategies and track risk mitigation actions to
closure to ensure parts are produced with perfect quality
on-time
Leads supplier deep dives and Integrated Risk Reviews (IRR) to
understand a Suppliers capabilities in project management,
staffing, training, capacity, planning/schedules, quality and
inventory mitigations
Serves as a mentor and coach to existing Work Movement Team
Builds trust across organizations and communicates effectively to
develop partnerships with key stakeholders, customers and
leadership
Has advanced proficiency in Project Management methodologies and
Risk Management
Collaborates with suppliers to create and track inventory cutover
plans and safety stock mitigation plans ensuring any part shortage
risk to AP programs is mitigated and tracked to closure
Skilled in utilizing Microsoft products and updating standard
project artifacts and reports on project progress to Executive
leadership and customers as required
Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and
programs in the lens of the Work Movement Project
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate
will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location
options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements,
therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is
required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent
resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver
products and services
3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective
action
3+ years of experience in a role that required Scheduling, Project
and/or Program Management skills
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as
Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Ability to travel 30% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience
1+ years of experience in Supplier Quality
1+ years of experience working in Manufacturing Operations
Project Management Certification
Typical Education/ Experience: Mid-Level (Level 3): Typically, 6 or
more years' related work experience or relevant military
experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.)
preferred, but not required.
Lead (Level 4):
Typically, 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant
military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.)
preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this

their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Mid- Level (Level 3): $105,000 - $120,741
Summary pay range Lead (Level 4): $123,000 - $140,347
