Job Description:

We are looking to build out our Enterprise Technology Business Partner (BP) group. This group will work directly with the Blue Origin business units like New Shepard, Engines, New Glenn and new programs from ADP. The BP has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface for Enterprise Technology (ET) with assigned business units and manages technology to business unit communications, business technology strategy development, risk management and relationship management ultimately ensuring ET is delivering successful services and solutions to move the programs forward. The BP serves as the business relationship link between business units and ET at the executive level. The BP provides strategic consulting level support and guidance through key technology initiatives. They communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives. They partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (e.g. strategic direction, return on investment, productivity, compliance). They serve a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology. The ETBP works with senior level management, business units and corporate staff executives to develop a technology strategy that is integrated with ET and across business units. ETBPs must have a strong understanding of their business unit and/or function to include their business drivers for success, process, and approaches to business models. Responsibilities: * Identify key stakeholders within the business unit and build effective working relationships. * Responsible for the development and implementation of program aligned technology roadmaps. * Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop annual priorities and ensure budget alignment for respective business areas. * Works with product and solution leadership to ensure product plans align to deliver on key business capabilities and needs. Ensures there is standard work for creating and reviewing business cases for new investments. * Lead business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed. * Act as the key liaison across business units and/or functional areas, the information technology department, and outside vendors. Acting as the voice of the business units assigned and articulating their technology needs. * Create shared vision of their respective roadmap and facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between different priorities. * Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet business unit needs. Gain alignment with business units, functional units and ET on new technology solutions. Qualifications: * 10+ years of IT and/or business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments. * At least 3 years of experience with managing team(s) responsible in strategic planning, product management, program management, business development or client management. * Ability to manage executive level stakeholder relationships. Communicate clearly on behalf of enterprise technology and technology products and programs. * Experience and proven success working with teams delivering technology solutions including Software Development, Data Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure. * Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels. * Highly organized and capable of tracking a large portfolio of initiatives across many diverse technical teams, strategizing within the technology organization on priorities and approached to meet the needs of the business. * Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
