The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Software Engineer, High
Performance Computing for the Satellite Mission Software team
located in Kent, WA . We are seeking a highly motivated individual
with building highly scalable analysis pipelines, optimized for
High Performance Computing (HPC) resources. You will work alongside
a multi-disciplinary team of software engineers, analysts, and
technology experts to build and deploy tools for complex government
mission analyses.
This position is located in Kent, WA and will focus on supporting
the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business
organization.
This position requires a motivated, focused individual with a
desire to help maximize the quality and quantity of data available
to Boeing and its customers. In this role, you will act as an HPC
Subject Matter Expert and work broadly across multiple teams and
programs to support tool development and acceleration while helping
to foster best practices across the teams' tool development.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate
will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location
options.
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations:
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known
as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal
government within the last 7 years or have you been enrolled in a
Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no
longer required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
accreditation standard.
Typical Education/Experience Level 4, Senior
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work
experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard required,
accreditation standard.

guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and
qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Experienced $112,200 - $151,800
Senior $130,900 - $177,100
Eligible for 3ERP

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To
meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as
defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes
