As a Software Dev Engineer for the AWS Console Mobile Platform team, you will lead a high performing engineering team to help deliver critical features on the AWS Console Mobile app. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with AWS service teams to bring features to market and develop and grow business opportunities for the company.
Our customers host and maintain critical infrastructure on AWS, often requiring on-the-go access to monitor and manage their resources. The Console Mobile Platform team's vision is to help design & scale our infrastructure to support the fast-growing number of AWS services and help our customers stay informed and connected to their resources at all times. We are passionate about building, testing, and releasing scalable, well-designed software. We continuously improve our technical foundation and customer experience. As a lead for the platform team, you will have end-to-end responsibility, from defining requirements to delivering features that enable personalized experiences and recommendations in both iOS and Android platforms. You'll own and lead the ground-shifting impact that your team will make on how customers engage with AWS while on-the-go.
Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of mobile platform features

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
