and motivated Project Manager (Glass Division) located in the Kent,
Washington Glass Division office.
The Structural Framing Division of MiTek ® USA Inc., a
subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc . is driven to provide
innovative structural solutions to the commercial building industry
focused around Building Envelope Design, Manufacturing, Steel
Framing and Structural Engineered Designs.
Our Glass Division is looking for a talented Project Manager,
who will successfully initiate, plan, design, execute, monitor,
control and close all glass projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not
Reviews project contract to determine most appropriate
procedures, prepares budget projections and requirements.
Establishes schedule for implementation for project team.
Maintains close liaison with management team so the concepts and
goals of the project are achieved, providing good technical
guidance as needed.
Monitors activities to ensure compliance with any government
regulations that may apply.
Responsible for activities and the results of those activities
specifically assigned and agreed upon.
Completes assigned projects in a timely manner, within project

Required Experience SKILLS & ABILITIES
College graduate or equivalent; Construction Management or
Engineering background preferable.
1 – 2 years of work experience in Project Management preferably
in the Construction Field.
Experienced with MS Office programs. Prefer knowledge of
PartnerPak estimating software for Kawneer. Knowledge of
Kawneer/storefront products including training in basics of
storefront framing and entrances.
A self-motivated career professional that enjoys detailed
project work, strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and
works well under pressure.
Position demands maturity, confidentiality, and the ability to
interface with various departments and individuals.
Must be flexible and able to work independently or as part of a
team, as workflows dictate.
Ability to develop procedures and training tools for increased
Travel and jobsite presence up to 50% time worked.
Travel required for this position is up to 50%.
