Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a--Aerospace Systems Engineer for a contract position near--Seattle, WA.--
--
Responsibilities:--

• Provide leadership in systems engineering activities such as assessing requirements to develop appropriate verification strategies--
• Demonstrate requirements verification skills on complex, integrated systems--
• Develop detailed verification products, including design, analysis, and test data, in support of customer certification efforts--
• Develop Verification Cross Reference Matrices--
• Develop, Improve, and/or Implement Test-Like-You-Fly processes--
• Develop, Improve, and/or Implement Systems Verification & Validation processes--
• Plan, develop, deliver, and communicate results in support of government customer requestsSkill/Experience/Education--
  Mandatory Skills--
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent technical field--
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with Systems Engineering on complex, space flight programs--
  • Ability to work effectively in teams with a demonstrated track record of good communication, execution, and coordination skills--
  • Ability to work effectively in an extended remote-work/teleworking situation--
  • Knowledge of current systems engineering and integration tools and methodologies--
  • Exhibit excellent judgement and be comfortable making high-quality and high-velocity decisions--
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.--Desired Skills
    • 10+ years of experience with system development and/or integration, preferably with aerospace hardware--
    • Significant experience working within single source of truth requirements environments, such as DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, Rational Quality Manager--
    • Familiarity with external launch vehicle requirements sources such as AFSPCMAN 91-710, SMC-S-016, 14 CFR Part 431--
    • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA--
