Providence is calling a Scheduler (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work
in Pace Alder at Providence ElderPlace in Kent, Washington.
This position is an office-based, non-clinical position,
responsible for scheduling appointments and dispatching
transportation to ensure that Providence ElderPlace participants
are transported to and from scheduled medical appointments.
In this position you will:
* Creates and maintains Clinic schedule for the PCP, RN, LPNs
including booking exam rooms and nursing care areas and telehealth
appointments * Inputs return visit requests and semi-annual
assessments into schedule. * Creates and maintains schedule for the
internal specialists including dentist, hygienist, optometrist,
Ortho shoes and Psychiatrist. * Schedules appointments for
participants to see contracted medical specialists based on
referrals made by Primary Care Providers.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
* Associate's Degree in English, Business administration,
Communications, or related field or equivalent educ/experience * 2
years experience in dispatching transportation and/or scheduling
medical appointments * Washington State driver license
