people to join our fast-growing team. Our Account Executives are
responsible for developing and driving account strategies that
result in the sale of new, incremental sales, building strategic
alliances to protect and grow our existing revenues, and managing
existing relationships within Allstream's strategic account
What our Strategic Account Executives will do
- Manage and enhance existing customer relationships by offering
targeted solutions to improve their businesses using a strategic,
consultative sales approach resulting in incremental revenue for
- Successfully sell to new logo customers within a small,
targeted set of prospects to exceed sales objectives.
- Build trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key
- Meet regularly with customers to receive feedback on
Allstream's performance and to explore their business challenges
- Craft and maintain account plans for existing customers
- Maximize revenue generation by creating and executing sales and
service activity plans for the customers
- Ensure our customers understand our solutions and are
maximizing their use.
- Lead the Allstream account team that is here to deliver a
favorably differentiated customer experience.
- Prepare for customer interactions by collecting and
consolidating background information on individuals and
- Take part in sales activities including conferences, business
case development, presentations, RFP processes, etc.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast
data that in all ways supports attainment of sales and revenue

- Proven and effective sales skills in all elements of the sales
cycle: prospecting, development, value delivery, closing, meeting
- A high desire to win
- An ability to identify and meet with decision makers to close
- Highly developed selling, customer relations, negotiating
- A great degree of motivation and professionalism, high energy,
ethics and excellent business judgment
- Ability to deliver on growth and profitability objectives
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to manage deadlines and balance priorities
- Must have a background in account team-based selling
What will make you more successful
- Demonstrated success managing both short and long-term selling
cycles while effectively and consistently applying a multi-step
- Proven success selling Managed Service Solutions
- 8+ years of experience in B2B solution selling.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in selling Unified
Communications (UCaaS), SIP Trunking and Telecom is a plus.
