As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists and engineers, you will project manage and lead our implementation of policies/procedures to support various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of policies and procedures for the company, business units and Team Blue. You will report to and work closely with the Director of Continuous Improvement and System Effectiveness and with a technical writer to ensure the successful deployment and use of procedures.

This role will develop and manage an aggressive schedule and make decisions to ensure business can move forward with existing and new command media. We will work together with process owners, as well as key stakeholders (i.e. engineers, technicians, and business personnel) to review, improve and develop business processes. You will provide recommendations to process document authors and help solve problems regarding scope, content, and coordinate with others. In this role, you will lead the Company Policy and Procedure Change Control Board, where policy and procedural changes are reviewed and approved.

As a key change leader in the company, you will work with process owners, technical writers, training personnel and business units to help establish change management for policy/process. As part of this, you will support and coach process owners in improving their communications and training. You will help create and communicate templates/requirements for release, communication and training for business units and process owners. Working closely with our Quality organization, the team will also develop and coordinate training for company to understand policy, process and Quality Management structure. You will develop monthly metrics, and report on progress, challenges and mitigations. As a key member of the Continuous Improvement and System Effectiveness team, you may support other department project management needs as requested.

  • Project Management and Coordination Skills
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and Policies/Procedures; Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management Systems
  • Self-starter, who can balance multiple priorities while working across business unit and functional organizations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communications skills; ability to be creative and flexible while achieving desired outcomes and results
  • Proven track record of resourcefulness in previous assignments and success when working with interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams. Strong ability to communicate at all levels and functions of the organizations.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


  • MBA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma Certification, and/or Change Certification
  • Experience as an internal auditor or external consultant
  • Prior people management experience
