Bonding and Grounding Process Engineer - New Glenn

In this role, you will support the development of bonding and grounding process documents used for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of electrical bonding and grounding implementation. You will support both design drawings to ensure bonding callouts are correct and appropriate, and production process development for implementing and measuring bonds.

Qualifications:

  • Support creation of bonding processes document to meet engineering requirements
  • Direct experience with creating production manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with hardware requirements for electrical bonding
  • Understanding of corrosion and related protection balanced with electrical bonding
  • Evaluate and select verification strategies for the bonding and grounding processes
  • Design and perform or direct necessary testing for bonding and grounding solutions
  • Experience with design integration
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 10+ years industry experience in aerospace system electrical design and verification
  • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and managing small, creative teams on fast-paced projects
  • Strong systems engineering background
  • Knowledge of program level design strategies and verification of bonding and grounding
  • Knowledge and experience with test methods for bonding and grounding
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

  • 15+ years industry experience in aerospace design

Experience in the development of system engineering products such as requirements, interface control documents, and verification reports
