Summary:Accountable for the development, coordination and implementation of system and process training for the campus. Responsible for strategies, plans and processes to support organizational goals, and coordinates all training related to systems and operations training. This is a highly visible position requiring a high energy level and positive attitude.Job Duties:Primary Duties:Develops training plans and processes to be implemented by Training CoordinatorsMonitors training activities to ensure all weekly scheduled training is conductedAssess instructional effectiveness impact of training on employee skills and KPIsDevelops metrics to evaluate training effectiveness; modifies training content or delivery method to meet training objectivesDevelops material to support training programs and ensure material stays up to dateCompiles report to management of training statistics with recommendations for successful training activitiesManage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipmentSupervises employees including: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsOther duties as required and assignedRequirements:Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalentMinimum 2 years of relevant training experience in warehouse; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience conducting training on warehouse management systems and order processingPC literate to include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookEssential Skills:Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs, work instructions, and reference guidesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAdequate knowledge of WMS and web delivery toolsAbility to conduct training classes for audiences at all levels of the organizationAbility to develop, write and proof training materialsProven presentation and facilitation skillsEnvironment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
