Job Description:

A health service company is in need of a Remote Referral Specialist I.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:
Initiating and managing clinical referrals for pre-authorization
Assigning escalated referrals to staff as appropriate
Responding to inbound calls initiating exam requests following established processes
Skills and Requirements Include:

Requires HS diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume OR
Any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Healthcare experience is desired
