Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Order Entry Clerk for our fast-paced optical laboratory in Kent, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team!

Job Summary

Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of customer's ophthalmic prescription and stock orders into the computer system.

Duties:

* Accurate and timely data entry into computer.
* Understand and apply company promotions, policies, and procedures in carrying out the order entry function(s).
* Recheck completed Rx's for correctness prior to issuing to lab for processing.
* Match invoices and file as necessary.
* Maintain lab operating system software update/procedures manual.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

* Two years of work related experience
* Ophthalmic experience required; Digital Vision Inc. (DVI) optical software system experience preferred
* Accurate Data entry skills
* Good organizational skills
* Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills
* Ability to meet and maintain deadlines
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
