Balmoral Surgery has five Partners and two salaried GPs (6.6 WTE) with a list size of 12,200 patients. We are a long established, well-organised and a friendly training Practice in the attractive seaside town of Deal in Kent. Deal is in a lovely area of East Kent with good schools and excellent travel links to both London and Europe. We are currently seeking a new doctor(s) to add to our team.Due to retirement, we are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive doctor, with good professional and interpersonal skills, who will join in our team approach to providing healthcare for our patients and will take part in the full range of General Practice responsibilities. We would ideally be looking for eight sessions per week working out of our modern purpose-built leased premises. This is a salaried post but there is the opportunity for Partnership in the future and we are prepared to be flexible, so are happy to discuss job share or other proposals from interested candidates.We are an active member of the Deal and Sandwich PCN and we consistently achieve highly in QOF and have been awarded an overall rating of Outstanding by the CQC. We use EMIS Web and Docman clinical systems.We are heavily involved in training and currently have two GP trainers and two clinical supervisors supporting both GP trainees and foundation year doctors. We also pride ourselves in offering a supportive learning environment to paramedic students, paramedic practitioners and pharmacy students. More recently, we are excited to be involved with the new Kent and Medway medical school in supporting and training the next generation of doctors. We are very proud to have an excellent and hardworking team of three Practice Nurses, three healthcare assistants, one advanced clinical practitioner and 2 pharmacy technicians as well as a proactive and supportive reception and administration team.
