What's a typical day as a Mixer Operator? You'll be:
--- Tending machine that mixes ingredients such as salt, flour, eggs and soda to produce batter according to formula
--- Weighing and mixing ingredients in mixing tank
--- Hand stirring mix with 3' long spatula
--- Recording information regarding ingredients and timing
--- Receiving instructions from Cook in person or on telephone regarding the mixes needed
--- Recording temperature of mixes
--- Adhering to plant work standards, high quality and productivity standards per plant requirements
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
--- Have basic knowledge of plant specific cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, chemical solution strengths, and chemical handling
--- Have a basic understanding of safety/Food safety (SQF)/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
--- Have the ability to work overtime to meet production deadlines
--- Have the ability to rotate to position of Production Specialist
--- Have the ability to communicate any food safety concerns to supervisor/management
--- Have the ability to treat all team members with respect and maintain positive and effective communication with peers, leadership and customers
