Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Scientist. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors degree with 2+ years of laboratory experience or a Masters degree with 0-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities
--- Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) assay development, and validation. Experience in multiplexing and/or fluorescent IHC, a plus.
--- Daily use of microscopes and imaging systems including commercial image analysis software packages.
--- With guidance as needed, independently plan and execute laboratory experiments, collect data, and communicate and present results to internal teams.
--- In-depth hands-on experience in other molecular and genetic techniques and technologies is a plus.
--- Maintains current and broad knowledge in Molecular & Cellular Biology, Cancer Biology, and Pathology.
--- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data into presentations, posters, and reports.
--- Assist in writing, following, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
--- Works in a regulated environment associated with maintaining a high performing CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory.
--- Responsible for ordering and maintaining reagents and supplies, instrument maintenance, and general lab duties.
--- Maintains a great team culture, participates in department initiatives, and seeks career development opportunities.

Requirements
--- B.S. and 2+ years of laboratory experience; M.S. and 0-2 years in a biological science related field.
--- Experience working in a laboratory setting.
--- Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures.
--- Excellent written/oral communication skills.
--- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
--- Experience with molecular biology and/or histology techniques.
--- Experience working in a regulated clinical laboratory, CLIA and/or CAP environment is strongly preferred.
--- Knowledge in cancer biology, immunology, or histopathology.
--- Use of microscopes, imaging systems, image analysis software.
--- Experience in multiplexing and/or fluorescent IHC, a plus.
--- Assay development using automated platforms.
--- Data management, data analysis, and statistical software packages.
