Pacific Power Group in Kent, Washington is an Allison Transmission distributor and is looking for a Transmission Technician. A successful candidate will have the mechanical aptitude as well as a positive attitude, great communication, team player mentality and customer service skills. If this sounds like you, we may have a spot for you in our company!Signing bonus up to $10K, based on qualifications and experience!As a Transmission Technician, you will conduct maintenance, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul Allison Transmissions in various On/Off Highway applications.Pacific Power Group is engaged in the sales and service of new and re-manufactured Allison Transmissions, industrial engines, power generation products, and marine power solutions. We are also a technologically-advanced Allison training facility for technicians. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to all of our clients and are characterized by steadfast integrity and a deep commitment to providing distinctive value through the talent and expertise of our people.The position is Monday through Friday, traditional work hours. Primarily working in the shop, but occasionally field service work may be required. There is opportunity for overtime and union membership required.Benefits include: Health insurance, Paid Time Off ("PTO"), Paid Holiday's, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k) matching, Referral Program, Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account, Parental Leave, Professional Development Assistance, Employee Assistance Program.Salary: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.What you will Do:Diagnose and repair all current On and Off Highway Allison Transmission models.Perform overhaul and final testing of finished products.Travel to customer jobsites and provide service and repairs when necessary.Document and warranty failures per Allison factory requirements.Produce professional service reports for all repairs.Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.Experience/ Education Requirements:Minimum 3-5 years of transmission technician experienceExperience at the Allison Dealer or Distributor level is a plus.Allison certified training for On Highway Models (1K, 2K,3K,4K minimum) preferred.Allison AED training certificates and experience a plus.Off Hwy Allison certifications a plus.Current Driver's license with good driving record.Class B CDL preferred.Pacific Power Group shall abide by the requirements of 40 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).Pacific Power Group will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
