opportunities for all levels of currently active Top Secret / Top
Secret SCI / SSBI Tier 5 Electrical Engineers and Scientists to
join us as part of our teams located in El Segundo / Sylmar / Seal
Beach, CA, Aurora / Colorado Springs, CO, Las Cruces, NM, Kennedy
Space Center (Titusville), FL, Chantilly / Fairfax / Herndon,
VA.
This requisition is for Senior, Lead, or Expert Level 4-6

Our diverse development portfolio provides opportunities to learn
with exposure to the breadth of the Boeing product line -
approximately half to 100% of any team's design work is within the
Space, Intelligence & Weapons business unit, but could also support
other parts of Boeing (AvionX; Missiles & Weapons; Strike,
Surveillance and Mobility; and Autonomous Systems).
As an Engineer or Scientist with Boeing, you will work with a
growing team and develop or work on state-of-the-art components,
products, subsystems, and/or systems, to support the most critical
programs across the Boeing Defense and Security enterprise. We
collaborate with other groups across the company and around the
world and support products built at the work location, or within
the United States.

Position Responsibilities
Position responsibilities will vary by role. But as a general ideal
of position responsibilities, it could include:
Some worksites such as Kent, Seal Beach, El Segundo, Kennedy Space
Center participate in Boeing's optional 9/80 schedule rotation.
9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8
days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday
off.
Some positions may require travel. Travel may be required up to 10%
of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on
business needs.
This position requires an active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI U.S.
Security Clearance (A U.S. Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI Security
Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered
active.) -OR- a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single
Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required)
and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation
program.
NASA Access
Some positions are located at a site that may require the ability
to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration
(NASA) facility. As such, NASA positions are NASA safety-sensitive
and are subject to random drug and alcohol testing. NASA Access is
site specific and could include some listed locations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work
experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master years' related work
experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.

education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

Relocation
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift Work
These positions are for 1st shift.
About 5% of positions offered require support for off-shift (or non
