Job Title: Distribution Clerk/Shipping Receiving
Location: Kent, WA
Hours: 8:30am-3:00pm
Pay: $19-$21/hr DOE
Duration: 4 months possibility of conversion to temp-to-hire

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Distribution Clerk to join our team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing outbound, inbound, and picking tasks while ensuring accuracy in all transactions. This is a part-time position with hours from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Part-time
- Location: Kent, WA
- Shift: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform outbound shipping tasks, including verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, affixing shipping labels, and examining outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications
- Perform inbound tasks, including receiving, storing, and issuing equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, or parts, and compiling stock records in the warehouse
- Perform picking tasks, including replenishing and picking customer orders, conveying materials and items from receiving areas to stocking or other storage areas, and picking customer orders from stock
- Use RF equipment to pick customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or replenishments, while maintaining production standards
- Verify materials are marked with identifying information and count items to ensure conformance to company standards
- Stock and prepare work stations with shipping materials and supplies
- Transfer receipts to stocking zone and store articles in bins, on the floor, or on shelves according to identifying information
- Cut stock to size to fill orders and move or transport material or supplies to other areas
- Communicate inaccuracies on inbound SKU's to supervisor and stage freight in question as directed

Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 35 pounds unassisted and up to 70 with help
- Basic computer skills are required
- Ability to work in a safe manner and ensure accuracy in all transactions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
