Position Details:
Maintenance Technician
Location: Kent, WA
Schedule: Initial training: 8-hour day shift for six months (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
Permanent shift: 12-hour nights (8:00 PM - 8:30 AM) on a 2-3-2 schedule (alternating 3 or 4 days per week).
Compensation: $36.69 - $44.15/hr Shift differential: an extra $2.25 is paid per hour for working night shift.

Position Description:
This position, initially on a 12-hour night shift after 6 months of day shift training, involves enhancing production equipment reliability and performing repairs to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and repair production, packaging, and facility equipment. Collaborate with production team to identify causes of downtime. Interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical diagrams, and PLC logic. Conduct metal fabrication for necessary repairs. Understand AC and DC motors, VFD drives, and troubleshoot circuits. Identify improvement opportunities in the production process and document results. Train operators in equipment operation and maintenance. Follow safety guidelines, good manufacturing practices, and specific maintenance procedures.
Requirements
Electrical controls / control circuits troubleshooting required.
2 years of Allen-Bradley PLC experience preferred.
PLC Troubleshooting preferred.
Demonstrate mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Be able to climb tall heights.
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds occasionally.
