a Calibration Technician A to join our team in Everett, WA.
Position Responsibilities: - Plan, check, set up, and operate,
basic and advanced Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or
process equipment - Use calibration standards (dimensional,
electrical, thermal, and optical) to calibrate, adjust, certify,
maintain, and repair M&TE/process equipment using approved
calibration procedures, process specifications, equipment drawings,
and M&TE /process equipment manufacturer's performance
specifications - Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document
results - Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of shop floor
equipment, laboratory and test-related problems - Route
M&TE/process equipment between receiving area, customer, and
calibration lab - Coordinate with customers to calibrate stationary
equipment while limiting machine downtime - Update equipment status
using established systems and complete associated paperwork -
Ensure equipment is ready for calibration per metrology processes -
Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report
list, hot list, or as assigned by team lead or manager - Perform
visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and
wear - Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in
accordance with metrology lab processes - Provide information and
clarification to customers on metrology processes - Develop and
review new calibration processes and procedures - Perform
computations necessary to analyze measurement test results This
position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will
be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position
must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export
control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22
C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen,
lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): - 5 years of experience calibrating
and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) - 1 years of
experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to lift, push, and
pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's degree in
a technical field in lieu of experience in calibrating and/or using
Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) - Precision metrology
equipment lab training Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free

Shift: This role is primarily second shift; however, there may be
additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range:
$33.32/hour to start for new union members, with potential to earn
up to $61.01/hour at max pay Applications for this position will be
