You light the way.More about the roleWe're looking for a Distributor Stock Specialist to join our Field Sales Team in the West Region based in Seattle, WA.You'll be responsible for managing the assigned customer base to increase stock sales in defined markets, providing sales, technical assistance, and training to distributors and agency personnel. This role involves direct interaction with distributors, executing sales plans with counter and inside sales personnel to drive demand at the electrical distributors' level. You will identify and coordinate training needs, drive product promotions, and resolve problems to optimize Cooper Lighting Solutions' (CLS) stock sales.We seek forward-thinking innovators passionate about sustainability.   • Achieve stock sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned territory or accounts. Promote CLS programs and initiatives to distributor partners and contractors, ensuring our message reaches the branch level. Responsible for executing PartnerEdge, AD, and IMARK programs based on the local market.
  • Drive demand and stock sales through electrical distributors with inventory management, product promotions, and merchandising management.
  • Lead sales training initiatives to increase product knowledge among channel inside and counter sales personnel, including key contractors. Develop relationships at the contractor and distributor level to increase demand.
  • Provide pre- and post-order stock support and manage orders in coordination with the District Sales Manager.
  • Implement plans involving distributor counter and inside personnel, agency, and Lighting sales teams; track progress to meet growth targets.Your qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
    • Experience in lighting, electrical, or industrial industries preferred.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently.
    • Proactive with a will to win and closing abilities.
    • Willing to travel up to 50%.
